- I am developing a library to manage shared memory allocation/access
- across multiple processes/threads. Are you aware of any free/inexpensive
- libraries that provide a generic interface to storing/accessing data
- in shared memory?

- Are there guidelines that one should follow when developing such a
- layer? Is there a web site with such info?

- I am using Solaris 2.4, with C++ 4.0.1 compiler.
